Moran Afraid to Face the Voters and Debate in His Own Hometown

Jim Moran, ordinarily not one to shy away from a fight, has refused to participate in the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s congressional debate tomorrow night at the Ritz Carlton at Pentagon City.  Originally, the debate was to include Moran and Matthew Berry and Patrick Murray, the two candidates vying for the GOP nomination.  Moran has since pulled out of the debate.  He was willing only to appear on stage by himself after the other candidates.

This smacks of the arrogance of incumbency, fear of two articulate GOP candidates, and fear of voters whom he completely ignored in supporting Obamacare and trials in Alexandria for the terrorists currently held in Guantanamo.

Poor Jim — he can’t face a room full of voters, unless they are lobbyists seeking favors.  One more reason to Retire Jim Moran.
