When does enough turn into too much?

Today’s Federal Government has a several spending problem. Unfortunately, rather than being part of the solution, Congressman Jim Moran has been part of the problem in this economic mess.

In fiscal year 2010, Jim Moran secured 82 earmarks worth $106,766,000. Maybe this is why in November 2008, Citizens Against Government Waste, named him the “Porker of the Month.”

The Porker of the Month, as describe on their website is, “a dubious honor given to lawmakers, government officials, and political candidates who have shown a blatant disregard for the interests of taxpayers.”

Check this our from the Greatest Hits page:

“I’m going to earmark the s*** out of it.”

In 2006, Moran was talking about the Democrats’ chances of taking the House in 2006 (which they did) when he exclaimed, “When I become chairman [of a House appropriations subcommittee], I’m going to earmark the sh*t out of it.”
